ABOUT TALI
Hi, I’m Tali,
I’m a mother, cavalier lover, newly-discovered-lover of reading books, theatre go-er and 5Rhythms dancer. I’m also a facilitator, speaker, manager and founder.
I love creating spaces for people to come back home to themselves, so they can hear and be guided by their inner voice.
I created The Voices Of Movement from my own healing experience of connecting with my inner voices. Having spent 15 years working in the mental health and wellbeing sector, leading teams and managing programs, as well as navigating my own lived experience of mental health, I’m extremely passionate about breaking down the stigma and supporting people to connect and find their true voice.
Creativity has always been a pathway of healing for me, and having trained with some of the world’s leading acting coaches, studying human behaviour and self development for 20 years, I have seen the power of giving voice to the different parts of us that are often unexpressed but running in the background (or foreground) of our lives.
I’ve worked with creatives, leaders, entrepreneurs and those who are wanting more clarity, confidence, creativity and connection in their lives.
MY STORY
Finding My Voice
For many years, I lived with anxiety, self-doubt and very loud critical voices in my head. I was a perfectionist and a people pleaser. Those voices told me I wasn’t good enough, talented enough, or qualified enough to take up space.
This is me performing “Oom Pah Pah” as Nancy in Oliver the Musical at 16.
Taking A Leap Of Faith
I studied Psychology at Uni, but struggled with how clinical it felt. Deep down, I wanted to pursue my love of acting and creative expression.
In 2011, I made the leap of faith. I deferred my studies and was accepted into one of Melbourne’s leading acting schools. There, I began a deeper journey of self-inquiry and started to hear my inner voice more clearly.
Discovering & Creating 'The Voices Of'
In 2015, I took another leap and created my one-woman show, The Voices Of Tali.
Through exploring and expressing the different parts of myself, I began to shift my relationship with my inner world. What once felt overwhelming slowly became something I could listen to, understand, and work with.
The show went on to tour across Australia to sold-out audiences, creating transformational theatre experiences that invited others to come into relationship with their own inner voices.
From there, I began developing my own framework, which became The Voices Of method.
Growing a Movement
Over the past 10 years, I’ve guided hundreds of people through workshops, programs, performances and events designed to strengthen their connection to their inner voice.
The work supports people to move beyond self-doubt and inner criticism and into greater clarity, creativity, and self-trust.
Time and time again, I’ve seen people leave feeling more open, more expressive, and more connected to joy, play and possibility.
What I Believe
I believe this work isn’t just personal, it’s generational.
If we can learn to listen to our inner voice, trust our creativity, and move beyond the voices that hold us back, we change what we pass on to the next generation.
